In the first two weeks of August, several “lone wolf” terrorist attacks across Israel have injured ten innocent people. The frequency of the attacks has alarmed many people, but security forces are on constant alert. Because of their diligence, no fatalities of innocent Israelis have occurred as a result of these attacks. Two separate stabbing attacks took place on Saturday. The first took place at a checkpoint in the West Bank, where a Palestinian man approached an IDF soldier to ask for water and then stabbed him when he turned to get the water. The attacker was subdued and taken…

While the world’s attention was focused elsewhere, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei quietly published a book that leaves no doubt he is committed to Israel’s destruction. What is surprising, however, is his strategy. In the 416-page volume, currently only available in Iran and secretly smuggled to the United States, Khamenei outlines his sinister plan to kill Israel slowly with decades of low-intensity warfare. By funding and arming multiple terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hezbollah, Iran intends to make life in Israel so unbearable and expensive that most of the country’s Jews choose to flee. Khamenei assumes a majority of…

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it his personal mission to persuade the American Congress to reject President Obama’s Iran Deal. In pursuit of this goal, Netanyahu spoke directly to the leaders of the Jewish Federations of North America about his reasons for believing it is a bad deal. Netanyahu outlined specific concerns regarding the deal, saying that it not only doesn’t stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons but actually “paves Iran’s path to the bomb.” Netanyahu urged American Jews to take a stand against the Iran Deal before it is too late. “What we do now will affect…

Leon Wieseltier, established voice of Jewish American liberal intellectualism, published a blistering analysis of what he sees as President Obama’s naïve and arrogant foreign policy that produced the Iran Deal. Pointing out President Obama’s oft-stated desire to avoid the “rut of history,” Wieseltier argues that Obama’s whole foreign policy, but especially in regard to Iran, ignores established historical realities in favor of hope-centric experiments. The rut of history: It is a phrase worth pondering. It expresses a deep scorn for the past, a zeal for newness and rupture, an arrogance about old struggles and old accomplishments, a hastiness with inherited…

Every single one of them understands the basic truth that the current US Administration can’t seem to grasp: Iran’s leaders can’t be trusted. The candidates didn’t mince words in their responses to last week’s announcement. For decades to come, the world will have to deal with the…

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu harshly criticized the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) after the council released a report on last summer’s Operation Protective Edge in Gaza. The report condemned Israel for war crimes targeting civilians and children, while completely ignoring Hamas’ role in endangering their own citizens and deliberately targeting Israel civilians. Netanyahu pointed out the hypocrisy of the UNHRC by drawing attention to the fact that since the council was formed, it has condemned Israel more times than all the other countries of the world combined. Watch Netanyahu’s statement below.

On Monday, the US Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the State Department could not identify Jerusalem as part of Israel on passports issued to American citizens born in Jerusalem. The decision reverses a law passed by Congress in 2002 which explicitly directed the State Department to recognize Jerusalem as an Israeli city. The law was ignored by both President Bush and President Obama, for fear of inflaming Arab anger. In fact, the Obama administration went so far as to claim the law would cause “irreversible damage” to America’s role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. The Supreme Court sided with the…

When disaster strikes around the world, Israel is always one of the first responders. The massive 7.8 earthquake in Nepal on April 25th killed over 4,000 people and injured over 8,000 more. Tens of thousands of people are homeless, and the United Nations estimates that 1.4 million people are in need of food after the earthquake. A handful of countries have already sent teams of rescue workers and supplies to Nepal, and once again Israel is on the front lines of the relief effort. A day after the earthquake, 260 members of the Israel Defense Forces flew to Nepal with a cargo…
