Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu harshly criticized the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) after the council released a report on last summer’s Operation Protective Edge in Gaza. The report condemned Israel for war crimes targeting civilians and children, while completely ignoring Hamas’ role in endangering their own citizens and deliberately targeting Israel civilians.
Netanyahu pointed out the hypocrisy of the UNHRC by drawing attention to the fact that since the council was formed, it has condemned Israel more times than all the other countries of the world combined.
