As Israel continues to fight on both the northern and southern fronts against Hamas and Hezbollah, the internal tensions continue, as terrorists attempt to attack security forces in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem.
A knife-wielding terrorist attempted to stab Border Police officers near the Shalem police station in Jerusalem during the night.
The Border Police officers, who were operating outside the police station, were inspecting the terrorist, who had aroused their suspicion, when he pulled out a knife which was in his possession, charged the officers and tried to stab one of them.
The officers opened fire and neutralized the terrorist before he could stab them. There were no injuries among the officers.
